The historic, cultural and social significance contained in the cultural presence of a city is essential to the cultivation of humanity, personal and national quality and spirit. Protecting historic and cultural presence of the city is inevitable in the cause of creating city features and achieving sustainable development.Northern Chengdu, an area of 212 square kilometers where Jinniu, Chengdu and Xindu districts converge, has an enormous presence of cultural relics and resources. With the commencement of northern Chengdu reconstruction project, the largest livelihood project in the city, cultural construction in northern Chengdu is embracing a historic opportunity.
